In August 10, 2017, BOE Technology Group Limited by Share Ltd announced, BOE (BOE) and Wuhan Municipal People's Government of Hubei Province, the Yangtze River Economic Belt Industrial Fund Management Company Limited signed the "Wuhan high generation thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) production line project and supporting the project investment framework agreement".

Notice that the BOE will be in Hubei city of Wuhan province to invest in the construction of high generation thin film transistor liquid crystal display TFT-LCD glass substrate production line project, the size of 2940mm * 3370mm, the design capacity of 120 thousand / month, for the production of 65 inch LCD module products, is expected to start the fourth quarter of 2017, a total investment of 46 billion yuan. This is also the BOE (BOE) layout of the second 10.5 generation line.

With the upgrade of display technology, the development of LCD panel to large size and ultra high definition has become an inevitable trend. Data show that more than 65 inches LCD TV panel composite growth rate of 21.5%, more than 75 inches, compound growth rate of 35.7%, the market demand increases. And for more than 65 inches LCD panel products, the most economical cutting efficiency is the 10.5 generation line, which has become an important opportunity for manufacturers to occupy the commanding heights of the big market. Therefore, in 2015, BOE (BOE) invested in Hefei to build the world's first 10.5 generation TFT-LCD production line, and then the global panel manufacturers will also regard it as the strategic heights of the industrial layout.
